In our GuanJing Method® teacher training, you’ll dive deep into the foundational philosophies of Chinese Medicine, Qi Gong, & Yoga to gain a clear understanding of these often abstract and mystical concepts. You’ll learn a unique method of breathing that stimulates the vital energies of the body, providing strength and balance in a way you’ve never before experienced. A detailed study of anatomy, biomechanics and integrated systems of the body helps you achieve a new level of stable and empowering postural alignment.

Program Outline

We begin each morning with a sunrise Flow. Setting our intentions with powerful Qi Practices. We enjoy breakfast in silent reflection. Lectures start shortly after with a lunch in between. This is followed by a short break. We finish off the day with a workshop and an evening Qi practice before heading to a sunset dinner.

Course tuition includes all classes, course material, and course activities, A GuanJing Method Teacher Manual, & Chinese Medicine manual, along with a Welcome Gift

Certification

Students are required to complete daily assignments during the course and to submit essays within 3 months after the course. You’ll need to demonstrate understanding of course content and offer personal reflection on the reading assignments. Once all your assignments have been completed and reviewed, A GuanJing Teacher Certificate will be issued.

Founder, Master Trainer

Ting Ting is an international movement specialist. She founded a meditation retreat center in Bali 2016. She has been in the wellness, yoga, and movement field for over 15 years. Her passion is sharing the techniques and knowledge learned through the years to help others move better, breathe better, and feel better. She loves to help people rediscover a new respect for their bodies. To gain confidence and empower their spirit. Using movement as a way to alchemize negative emotions and harmful habits into renewed life force energy within the body.

Dr. Nadia Ramo DACM | L. AC

Chinese Medicine Doctor

Dr. Nadia Ramo is a Doctor Of Chinese Medicine and Herbalism. In addition to her License of Acupuncture, she has been trained in the healing arts of bodywork, yoga, and reiki in the last decade. She completed her Yoga Teacher Training in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains in 2012, studied anatomy and physiology at her alma mater UC Berkeley, and has integrated the wisdom of Western anatomy, Eastern Medicine, Yoga, and herbalism to be a part of her daily practice when seeing her patients. Dr. Nadia loves to educate the public and other practitioners on the practical uses of Chinese Medicine in every day life that help alleviate and prevent psycho-somatic symptoms. Currently, she is living in Los Angeles refining her apothecary, seeing patients, and recently received her Certification as a Psychedelic Therapist in Research.

Rachel Ellery

Anatomy Specialist | Osteopath

UK-trained Osteopath, New Zealand trained pilates rehab instructor & internationally recognised anatomy teacher Rachel Ellery, specializes in sharing her knowledge of human anatomy and movement principles to yoga students, yoga teachers, bodyworkers from around the world.Her mantra “educating and moving the world one body at a time” stems from over 27 years of hands on experience and 18 years of teaching functional anatomy, bodywork techniques and movement. Her passion to heal others through touch and movement began while practicing sports therapy in the UK and Caribbean. Rachel naturally progressed into further education at the British School of Osteopathy graduating in 2000. Rachel has also continued training in Cranio-sacral Osteopathy, Garuda mat, dry needling, pediatrics and shown interest in Eastern medicine healing modalities Wuo Tai, Zen Thai Shiatsu, Thai Vedic Yoga and the Thai Massage Circus.Since then, Rachel has practiced holistic osteopathy in NZ and now based in Bali, the healing capital of Asia, she travels within Bali and to yoga schools across the globe to educate yoga students in the importance of human and functional anatomy encouraging them to develop their alignment, self-awareness, teaching skills and to educate others in the wonders of the body.

Are You Ready?

  • This course is for intermediate to advanced dancers/ yogis/ movement enthusiasts who are ready to move into the more transformative elements of energy work.

  • We strongly recommend applicants have one year of consistent physical practice with minimal limitations.

  • An open mind, and a willingness go deep and move past established habits.

  • You should be relatively comfortable practicing intermediate back bends.

  • Some experience in meditation is highly recommended.

  • It is important to engage this training with a level of maturity, a willingness to learn, discipline, curiosity, and an understanding of the limits of your own body.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior experience to enroll?

No it is not necessary. The GuanJing teacher training is for intermediate movement practitioners who are ready to learn how to direct energy, develop a solid foundation of practice and in interested moving beyond the just the physical. 

About half of our students sign up for the course with the explicit intention of becoming a teacher, others just want to learn.If you have a regular movement practice, you may be more ready than you think. We welcome participants with a curious nature ready to learn.

The best way to prepare for the training retreat is to practice GuanJing! Enroll in the online monthly courses and get moving.

How difficult will this training be?

For most students, the program is challenging on many levels: physical, emotional, mental. Our days begin at sunrise and you’ll be busy with class, lectures, workshops and practices until dinner time.

Be ready to listen, reflect, write, share, move, stretch, strengthen, practice, work, learn, laugh, cry, and dance.

The program requires consistent attention, and discipline. Growth occurs outside of our comfort zones, and you’ll be encouraged to reach beyond that barrier, but ALWAYS within your own safe limits. We want you to grow, but how much is up to you.

What are Covid / Visa requirements to enter Bali?

Most countries you can receive a Visa on arrival. Please check with your countries Embassy on any specific regulations.

The VOA is valid for 30 days, if you plan on staying longer, we can coordinate with you a visa agent that can handle extensions. As of right now a Covid test is not required to enter
